I remember this old taiwanese drama about army, the instructors ever disguise themselves as vampire to scare the recruits.

the recruits tried all means to kill the vampires. the instructor cursed when he kena splashed with tong zi niao (he was saying some thing like CB! this kind of thing those si recruits also believe)

I mean, when you read ghost stories ... everything works ... cross and holy water works, bomoh works, taoist talisman works, buddhist amulet works .....
